Following are two mass e-mails I sent about one-year-and-a-half ago, in the summer of 2003. They're some of my favorite bits I've ever written, from the island of Naxos, in the middle of the Aegean Sea.
Brenna is one of my best friends in this callow world, and I love her dearly. She took me to Europe that summer, because she had some extra frequent flier miles, and because she's a kickass rockstar.
