Ups and Downs

I just lost my job today. This job that I've loved for three months, which beat the crap out of me emotionally and financially, just wasn't a good fit from my supervisors' point of view (well-meaning euphemisms, of course, but I have the utmost respect for them for all their honesty and flexibility).

It's a release for me, because I have been struggling at it. I've been doing my best to make things work better, but my best just wasn't enough for it. And that's okay. They've given me the opportunity to resign, which is good of them.

I will miss my residents most of all.

I am embracing the opportunity to rest.

more soon,

paulmonster-unemployed

ps--'Metamorphoses' Opening Friday!!! GAAAAAHHHH!!!!

That's tough. Sending lots of positive thoughts your way.

I think a rest is a good idea. And maybe it's time for a more all-encompassing change. Who knows? I'm sure you'll figure it out.

In the meantime, blessings on you.

Joblessness is harsh but paulmonsters were not meant to live on jobs alone. I know there is something else very good for you out there. And read the Alchemist like Amy says! It's a great cheerer-upper, with many believeable truths about the universe.
